Back to School Initiative
On August 28, STEP For A Better World Leo Club dropped off 100 backpacks filled with back to school supplies to Robbins Elementary School located in Trenton, New Jersey. Each backpack contained A binder filled with lined paper, a folder filled with lined paper, one marble and one spiral notebook, a pencil box/case that has regular and mechanical pencils, blue/black pens, eraser, crayons, colored pencils, ruler, sharpener, highlighter, child-safety scissor, calculator, glue, and some had a lunch box and a water bottle. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and thank you to Advisors Gloria and Jessica Shah, Mentor Abhinav Pandey, President Ananya Udyaver, Secretary Rishima Kasi, Treasurer Anurag Thogarchedu, and Graphic Designer Krisha Shah for coming along to drop off the supplies.
On September 3rd, STEP For A Better World Leo Club dropped off 27 backpacks to HomeFront filled with back to school supplies. In each backpack, there was a binder filled with lined paper, folder filled with lined paper, marble and a spiral notebook, a pencil box/case which had a ruler, sharpener, eraser, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, scissors, calculators, and glue. Thank you to everyone who contributed to help make this donation possible. Thank you to Advisor Jessica and Gloria Shah, Mentor Abhi Pandey, and Treasurer Anurag Thogarchedu for dropping off the supplies at Lawrence Community Center where they were giving out the backpacks to students in need!
